Through these 5, 1/2 day workshops, children ages 6-12 will be invited to express themselves through art and movement. The focus during these days together will be on mindfulness and creativity in a fun and relaxed environment. Children will learn basic yoga elements through play, storytelling, balance and creative visualization. Over the course of the workshop, we will explore meditation, breathing techniques, yoga asanas, partner yoga, and mindfulness. Each day will have a yoga practice, outdoor activities and exploration time, and a creative arts project. Our art projects will be directly related to our yoga experiences and will emphasize our focus on mindfulness while offering opportunity for artistic expression and the use of various art media.
